Our Story
The Polish Canadian Society of Nova Scotia was founded to bring together members of the Polish diaspora living across the province. From Halifax to Cape Breton, our members share a deep connection to Polish culture, language, and traditions—while proudly calling Nova Scotia home.
Our mission is to preserve and promote Polish heritage in Atlantic Canada through cultural events, language education, community gatherings, and partnerships with local and national organizations.

What We Do
Events — From Constitution Day picnics to Wigilia suppers, we host gatherings that celebrate the Polish calendar and bring our community together.
Language — Our Polish language club meets regularly for conversation practice, readings, and cultural exchange.
Culture — Pierogi workshops, folk art demonstrations, film screenings, and more keep Polish traditions alive for the next generation.
Support — We help newcomers from Poland settle in Nova Scotia, connecting them with resources and community.
